I work with mixed media from painting to drawing, experimenting with epoxy or plaster and even making custom dolls for friends, my favorite art to create is when I create a piece that connects with someone. When I hear that it's on their wall and is a part of someone's everyday life and they smile when they see it. It's so overwhelming in the best way. Unknowingly making a positive impact is the best ever!
Where do you find inspiration?Life! Almost everything about it. Right now I'm specifically inspired by The Peoples Artist supporting the Art of Elysium. I'm a breast cancer survivor and through art I stayed grounded. I drew mandalas and painted images of strong women. Art kept me positive.
What would you do with $25,000?25k is A LOT of money, it can go so fast. I would take a step back and let it marinate. I'm just grateful for this opportunity. I rarely post my art on social media because it's honestly terrifying for me. Hopefully by entering this competion I will inspire someone else to step out of their comfort zone.
