I've always loved doing portraits and animals. Recently I have been working expanding more into landscapes. I enjoy practicing continuously line drawing and try to keep that loose gestural line work in my portraits. Like many artists I'm always striving to work bolder and looser. My goal is to work towards more of an abstract expressionistic style.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration for portraits through sites that offer photos for artists to use. I also draw inspiration from friends nature or vacation photos.
What would you do with $25,000?I need a new vehicle to haul my art to markets. A stair lift would allow me to remain in my multi level home longer, where I have plenty of space for my art practice. Stairs are getting more difficult each year. And an artist's retreat would be incredible to kick my inspiration into high gear. So may options
