I create to translate the unseen into form—healing, feminine, and sacred spaces where people remember who they are by awakening inner truth.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create feminine forms layered with symbols of transformation, truth, and the human experience in its rawest form. My work translates the subconscious and spirit into a visual language of vulnerability, where connection is revealed and shared. Through soft yet resilient figures and my “truth flowers,” I trace cycles of trust and self-return. Each piece becomes an anchor for becoming, while honoring what came before and inviting others to witness themselves within it and their own unfolding.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in moments of realization, the quiet shifts where something unseen suddenly becomes known. It lives in the reflections of the people around me and in the cycles of nature, mirroring inner change. I am drawn to the rituals of tending to oneself spiritually, surrendering to the greater unfolding. The forms of the feminine and flowers, whose beauty and delicacy hold a quiet fortitude, become the emotional language I translate into my work.
What would you do with $25,000?Receiving $25k allows me to dedicate myself fully to my next body of work, rooted in creating natural dyes and paints from the land, building each piece in ritual with it. I would travel to learn regional dyeing practices, bringing that knowledge back to my work and community. This would culminate in a body of work and a self-funded solo exhibition, alongside gatherings where others are invited into the process, transforming the work into a shared experience of creation, connection, and return.
