Choosing a favorite would be like choosing a favorite way to breathe, each form feeds something different in me. I've specialized in abstract photography, finding art in what most people walk past, decay, rust, paint peeling away, objects others might call junk. Nature pulls me in just as strongly. Any subject captivates me, landscapes, people, everything in between. Beyond the lens I love pastels, colored pencil and hybrid drawing(trad/digi). Music will always be in my soul too.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration finds me everywhere, in every layer of the life experience. From within myself and from others around me. The spiritual realms have had a profound impact on my creative vision. Meditation opens doors that the everyday mind keeps closed.. Anywhere peeling paint and rust can be found. Abandoned buildings, rural and urban landscapes. These subjects speak to me as ever evolving art, shaped by elements and time. From shifting in and out of many realms of conscious thought and feeling.
What would you do with $25,000?The prize would go directly toward funding and furthering my mission of sharing my art and creativity with the world. To jumpstart opportunities to immerse myself in creative pursuits, connect with other creatives, and still provide for myself and my family. To continue building a bridge toward my true creative purpose, serving myself and others with real value. To find my place more fully in the world I know I belong in. I am grateful for even the possibility of this opportunity. Thank You.
