Art has always been my first love. I’m the quiet one, and as an introvert, art is how I express myself. A beautiful outlet I want to share.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is surrealism and abstract art. I mainly work with paint, but I also experiment with ink and digital collages, combining photography with my original paintings. I love being “free” with my work and creating from both imagination and my day-to-day experiences. Surrealism and abstract art give me the space to express what I want without restrictions.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through life experiences, dreams, and imagination. I take what I have learned from life lessons, both good and bad, and apply it to my art through imagery and messages in my titles. Dreams and imagination are also a big part of my process. I have visions of the art I want to create, and even when it doesn’t turn out how I imagined, it still gives me a general idea of what I should do.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to fund my current art business and build a larger network, with the goal of creating a community of artists who support each other through collaborations and opportunities to feature their work in a gallery setting. I also want to use it to grow my platform so I can help other artists gain exposure.
