Contemporary art, is defined by freedom. After creating over 2,000 works between 2006 and 2026, my practice has evolved into something more abstract, vibrant, and fluid. This style was instinctive, nothing in nature is truly still, and I’m drawn to the beauty of motion. Over the past nine years, my work has expanded into a performative dimension. I paint celebrity portraits while riding a skateboard between two half-pipe ramps, merging frequency, rhythm, and is my absolute favourite method.
Where do you find inspiration?I started my practice travelling the world, exploring place and space, taking thousands of photographs. When I started, I was inspired by urban diversity, architecture, and culture - driven by curiosity and a fear of missing out, or not being witness. Being present is my inspiration. My daily rhythm explores a level of conscious alertness. I’m drawn to the reflective nature of things what is mirroring back. This mode of thinking allows synchronistic events to unfold, fuelling my art creation.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd like to attend a future International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, with my son. While visiting Europe, I'd return to London after living and studying there in 2006 -2012. It has been some time since I've returned but would like to visit the Tate Modern and similar major contemporary art museums seeing the amazing art again from an older perspective and witness my son's experience.
