Where do you find inspiration?In the therapeutic values that art gives me as well as everyday living. I often get to be out in the wilderness in the high desert so I come across wild animals and wild beautiful scenery and I’ve always loved illustrations and coming book style art. I also have done illustrations for cultural stories wich gives me a powerful sense of connection as well as knowing I’m giving back to the community and a small part of keeping stories alive
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy supplies and equipment in order to start an art program/class on my reservation “the burns Paiute tribe” for several different mediums. The rural community has plenty of upcoming artist and it could be a help to a beginning in one’s artistic adventure I believe art is therapeutic and has healing qualities while creating and observing therefore I’d like to be part of the start of something that gives back to the community
