Im a painter at heart. Watercolor is my preferred medium of choice, but I also enjoy the different aspects of oils and acrylic. Plein Air watercolor painting in outside, remote, environments is my game. But I also love linocut, woodcut, and print making. Add creative writing onto that, and you basically get who I am. In the past I've featured photography, videography, and 3D sculpture as well.
Where do you find inspiration?Outside, in the element, as far away from people as possible. Alternatively, I get recharged with humanity, culture, emotional depth in others. The infinite complexity of nature is fascinating to me. It provides so much insight into things we humans only barely understand.
What would you do with $25,000?Outside of making sure the taxes are paid on it, I would travel, and do art. Being creative and experiencing the world is my thing. I would book a ticket, likely somewhere in latin America. Perhaps the north coast of South America, the Caribbean, or the lost arid lands of central Mexico. The skies the limit. Alternatively, I would also probably arrange a separate trip somewhere fun with my kids, they need to know why dad likes to travel so much!
