I’m a former goalie who always loved art, when I retired from hockey I continued to show my love for the game by recycling broken sticks
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Sports art is my main passion, turning broken hockey sticks that are no longer useable into beautiful pieces of art. The great thing about art is anything can be a canvas if you have the imagination and I’ve used many things over the years, even if they don’t work out, I’ll figure out a way…
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration watching my favourite teams, going to concerts with my family . My daughter loves taking pictures at concerts and we find the best ones for me to paint, so art is kinda like a family bonding experience for us.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25,000 I would be able to take care of some bills, debt and set my studio up for more success, it would also allow me to focus more energy into the charities I like helping out through my artwork. I would definitely take the family to another concert as well..
