I love to construct art because the door for real conversations with other individuals opens. Collaborations and reinterpretations never end

I am fascinated by graphite on paper. There can be magic in a depiction with only graphite on paper. When art is carefully produced, I feel there is truth in the saying, "this turned to stone" for photorealistic drawings. This type of art brings to mind the power of Medusa's eye (for me).
Where do you find inspiration?I usually turn to personal experiences and, I try to keep in mind the best at what they do as I produce. In particular, many of my finest pieces were inspired by Chuck Close. I was mesmerized by his big self portrait in high school. So, over the years I experimented with photorealistic drawing truly as an ode to Chuck Close. Often, I find art is a productive way for me to grow, process, and heal.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like a privacy fence for my backyard since our pup is not socialized. Also, I would like to develop my graduate research that I presented at Harvard University into a working patent. I designed a door for people in wheelchairs that empowers those individuals to enter and exit with greater comfort and less difficulty improving peace of mind. Thank you!
