I like working with sumi ink. I come from a long line of JoSeon (Korea) artists. I use Copic markers on treated washi paper in Gesso to simulate the brush ink drawing of my ancestors. It is a very calming experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through nature, personal experiences, observations, and dreams.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to save the money for a year. After 9/11 i was given no financial support. I would like to think careful on how to spend these funds. A majority of the money will go to my nephew and nieces. The rest will go to my retirement. Other funds will be donated to charity. I would like to spend this money wisely.
