I love to create because it's a way to escape from all the troubles of life. I can show the way that I view the world through my eyes.

I love to create mixed water and mixed media pieces. Really any material that has a natural flow to it.
Where do you find inspiration? The natural world around me has an instinctive connection to my thoughts. Lines make up a web of interaction between form and space. Repetition of form and pattern in nature create a rhythm that plays over and over in my head. This rhythm becomes like a heartbeat that gives the work life. An environment is developed; a place of escape and contemplation. I wander through the paintings as I would in nature. A landscape of endless possibilities.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to create a better working space for my art. After I had my daughter, I had to give up my art room and have wanted to redo part of my home to create a working studio. That money would mean the world to me and my creative side.
