My creative process has become a part of my self love journey. Learning to honor my own self worth and spreading light and love through art!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I enjoy drawing portraits. I use graphite on Bristol board paper. I create portraits of people and animals. I love opportunities to capture the beauty and personalities of those who have passed away. I have recently been experimenting with charcoal and using techniques I learned in Undergraduate school!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from other artists. I mainly find inspiration from looking at my past artwork and my own mental health journey. The process of learning about self love and acceptance has also been a major inspiration in my art creations!
What would you do with $25,000?I will admit it would be wonderful receiving this gift. On the other hand, I would be beyond grateful to share my art and the love I pour into it with a larger audience. Thinking about what I would do with the money, my first priority would be to help pay vet bills for my dog who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease last year and almost passed away. Additionally I would invest in my health to improve my quality of life. It is difficult not to let life and financial burdens stall self care.
