I make art to experiment with my ideas. I love pushing my style in different directions to see where it takes me.

I love drawing people and creating characters. I like to create stories around them, though I've never done any full-body works based on these stories. It would be a dream come true to work as a character designer for a video game or animation studio, but for ow, all of my characters are just for fun.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it a lot throughout my everyday life. I love making characters and scenes based on animals, insects, and plants that I see throughout the day. I've also recently started painting from life, and have really enjoyed seeing how light plays with the colors. I experiment with different styles based on art I see in my art books or on Pinterest and Instagram, and I find new techniques to incorporate into my own style through studying others.
What would you do with $25,000?It would go into paying for my Graphic Design degree so I can continue to create and grow my abilities. I've been in college for one year and will be for another four, so anything would go a long way to help cover tuition. I also get the opportunity to study abroad soon and would love some extra financial help with that. This trip and the independent study I'll be doing on it will allow me to expand my horizons beyond the bubble I've lived in my entire life.
