Abstract art how I make sense of the nonsensical. Layer to layer, nothing is ever as it seems and always means something totally different from one person to the next. It's the one thing in art, and in life, that we can take in and make it whatever we need it to be. I like the idea of providing that type of support for someone who just might fall in love with it. Abstract art is my favorite type of art to create.
Where do you find inspiration?I'm inspired by the notion of being a messenger that was chosen by the art itself, not the other way around. I see creating as a duty and a privilege that not every person gets to fulfill and so what other choice might I have? Making art is how we heal our pain and sharing it is how we heal the world. In a time we all need to heal the most, I consider it my responsibility to use it as my most valuable weapon in the fight to make the world a better place .
What would you do with $25,000?With 25K, I'd put down on a home for my 11 year old and me . I'm the single mom of Wren and the idea of never paying rent again and knowing we are safe is really just the best thing that could ever happen to us. And ART SUPPLIES!!
