Art is a form of communication where I can showcase the triumphs and challenges with a disability. I can connect with and inspire others.

My favorite kind of art to create is the kind that lets you look at the artwork and find the story within the piece. It gives room for interpretation to allow audiences to resonate with the piece in their own way. Storytelling a big part of why I pursue art. It’s a way to take our experiences and turn them into visual forms.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the people around me. From family, friends, peers, and mentors. From stories about how their day went to stories that lead them to their career path, I love hearing the things that make that individual unique. Many things that inspire me come from the people I look up to. Hearing their stories and experiences not only give me hope, but they can also provide lessons to remember later.
