Art for me is a release. Self taught, art has been a constant in my life always. Showing that life comes from pain. We create our own beauty
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to sketch the most. A simple sharpie ballpoint pen. When my brain gets too loud my lines are bold, when im happy they are wispy and light. But I enjoy all mediums of creating. For example using old make up eyeshadow pallets for color. Art doesnt always have to be complicated sometimes it doesnt need all the extra bells and whistles.
Where do you find inspiration?Life. Everyday. Past. Present and future. My children. A look someone gives me in the store or a story ive heard someone tell. Theres strength in struggle and life in pain and I try to showcase that to my best abilities.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest it into my two children. Take care of my family...
