My favorite type of art to create is oil painting, especially landscapes and nature-inspired pieces. I’m still trying to figure out my niche and have dabbled in different styles, but I have found a love with showing the beauty in nature and the different types of emotion that can bring up
Where do you find inspiration?Lately, I’ve found inspiration in the person I’m creating the piece for. Much of my work has been gifted to family members for birthdays or holidays. One of my favorite things is being able to give a piece of myself to the people I love most. Each painting is a literal expression of my love. So much time, thought, and energy goes into every detail. Painting allows me to express emotions that words sometimes can’t, and my hope is that each piece makes that person feel loved and seen by me.
What would you do with $25,000?Ultimately I would love to invest in growing my passion. Possibly expand my home studio with professional supplies and equipment. Take on bigger projects to hopefully be able to create a business so I could have opportunities to share my pieces with a larger audience with the main goal of inspiring others through my art.
