My favorite art to create is whatever I am currently working on. I was surrounded by artists my entire life. The most profound secret they shared with me was that your entire life becomes the great work of art. So we should all get creative and make a beautiful existence.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everything that uplifts the spirit, gives hope, and communicates kindness. I love animals, insects, birds, trees, fantasy, and flowers. I seek magic in the mundane. I appreciate every unique manifestation of human beauty. I think the best inspiration to share is compassion for others and a joy for existence.
What would you do with $25,000?I'm dreaming big for the gallery showing. The funding would facilitate implementation of a show to be really proud of. Next, I would probably purchase a home for my son and I. It would be sweet to own a more permanemt space where we can create, learn, and grow.
