My art works through me, it forms its own identity as I recognize forgotten pieces of soul. Art is my voice and my voice, is for the people.

I like to create bright works that remind me of the beauty around & within me. I watercolor as an act of devotion to remembering my own humanity. Borne as a way to express the emotions no human words could begin to describe, this self-taught journey hasnt been simple. After a lifetime trauma & abuse I found myself silent, unable to use my own voice to create the change I needed. Intuitive watercolor became that voice and mirror that spurred my healing journey & will always be my favorite medium.
Where do you find inspiration?I've read somewhere before that your art output is a reflection of what you consume. I agree to an extent. I find inspiration through my physical reality exploring nature, listening to music & witnessing others create. I too however source inspiration from a space deep within where my emotions blend with color and sound into a synesthetic experience. Here in this space within, I am able to intuitively bring something unseen from the unknown into physical reality ✨️
What would you do with $25,000?While my art is intuitive, I have a more conscious plan for the prize money. After a long & financially devastating divorce, I urgently need funds to get my house & 4acre property in selling order. Funds from the sale of the home would then help transition my family into a life where I would have an invaluable resource, space and time to create. Long term, I hope to use my creative expression and lived experiences to help others going through domestic violence & hardship. 25K would be the key!
