You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Mainly mediums in the realm of color and texture that might seem appropriate to kind of converting what I'm thinking or feeling into the physical world so that I can experience it in real space and time. There can be some tedious work involved in the process, but after it's finished I enjoy the experience of seeing what I've done from that sort of outside dimension
Where do you find inspiration?I'm also a musician and feel fortunate to have been exposed to an explosion of creative music and art in the late 60s - early 70s (my teens) in a place like New York City - and generally speaking it's pretty easy to encounter inspiration here on a day-to-day basis
What would you do with $25,000?For one thing, enjoy a little mental relaxation! :) Living in NYC is not cheap! And I'd try looking into possibly a little bigger living space, or renting a studio space where I could work more effectively with more art supplies
