I love creating art for the simplicity of finding peace in the midst of my chaos! Putting my pain in every detail !
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is hyper realism. I love the detail you can bring out of a drawing by using just graphite, charcoal, and erasing ! Hyper realism brings out the emotion through shadows and highlights! It helps appreciating the tools you have and to understand every tool plays a role in your next piece, or even your next detail
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through pain and emotion. We as humans endure discomfort and not everyone has been taught how to express that ! A lot of us find our own ways of surviving. And through art, I’ve found my own way! The inspiration comes from our everyday struggles and accomplishments, watching others fall short while the rest flow like it’s second nature ! When you understand emotions, that itself, can be a form of art and creativity! You just have to navigate through the storm.
What would you do with $25,000?I would focus on my career and marketing for art ! And last but not least, I would love to enjoy the world, travel for a month and meet new people, new artists, friends, and create the life I pictured when I was once a child !
