Art frees my mind from constraints of my junky body. It accepts the disconnect between my mind’s look at subjects & my body interpretation.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract. I use much of my art to inspire poetic messages.
Where do you find inspiration?I use everyday things to inspire my reality-driven poems and art. People always insist on seeing emotions in music and sometimes forget that visual art might actually contain just as much, if not more, raw feeling on the canvas. Just as music can hype you up or bring you to tears, I hope my paintings stir some deep seeded shit inside and bring it to the surface for you.
What would you do with $25,000?Besides allowing me to continue my work as an artist, poet, philosopher, and advocate for nonspeaking autistic people globally, a large part of the prize would go toward publishing my 2nd book, which encourages deeper respect, inclusion, and curiosity about the role the autistic community can play in shaping a more compassionate and conscious future. My goal is not only to share my own voice, but to help shift public awareness about autism itself, and its role in expanding human potential.
