I create so fleeting moments don’t disappear—I turn them into jewelry you can hold onto.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m a silversmith, so I love creating jewelry that feels personal and lasting. Sterling silver, natural stones, found objects, and hand-forged textures all inspire me. My favorite pieces feel like little keepsakes—something beautiful you can wear every day while still carrying a story, memory, or feeling inside them.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the Lowcountry marshes, tidal movement, weathered textures, oyster shells, shifting light on the water, and the feeling of nostalgia tied to certain places and moments. I’m inspired by things that feel fleeting—sunlight on the water, salt air, old keepsakes—and turning those feelings into something permanent people can hold onto.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it directly into growing my studio and business. I’d expand my equipment, purchase higher quality materials and stones, improve my workspace, attend larger art festivals, and create new collections I haven’t had the resources to fully explore yet. As a one-woman business, that kind of support would completely change what I’m able to create and share.
