I love creating larger, immersive pieces, though I often work smaller due to space limitations. I’m especially drawn to India ink and gouache for their contrast, texture, and versatility.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the environment, my family, and personal experiences. Emotion is at the core of my work, and creating allows my mind to quiet and fully settle into the moment.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in quality materials and tools to continue creating and push myself toward larger, more meaningful artistic projects. This opportunity would also help provide a stronger sense of stability, allowing me to focus more fully on growing both as an artist and as a person while continuing to build a future around the work I’m most passionate about.
