I love to paint, do performance which I often photograph and use as the premise of the painting.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the clouds, in loss and relentless change. I find art in trauma, which I transmogrify into lightening bolts of creative catharsis. The horror can be alchemized into great beauty. I lost my best friend and have been working on a series of death paintings that explore alternate states of consciousness, funeral rights and the memories that flash before your eyes as you take your final breath.
