Art became a way for me to process what I’ve been through and rebuild. It helps me turn struggle into something real and meaningful.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I focus on blackwork and line-based tattoo designs. My style leans into bold, clean structure with darker, expressive themes. A lot of my work reflects growth, struggle, and transformation. I’m drawn to designs that feel strong and lasting—something people can carry with them. Tattooing, for me, isn’t just art—it’s a way to turn real-life experiences into something permanent and meaningful.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my inspiration comes from my own life—going through challenges, learning from them, and rebuilding. I’m also influenced by traditional tattoo styles, gothic elements, and everyday moments that carry emotion. I pay attention to things people overlook and turn that into something visual. For me, inspiration isn’t just about what looks good—it’s about what feels real.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use it to fully invest in rebuilding my path through tattooing—getting professional equipment, proper training, and creating a clean, focused workspace. I’d also put time into building a strong portfolio and releasing original flash designs. This would give me a real chance to turn something that helped me heal into a career that’s stable, creative, and built to last.
