Art is my voice, I’m autistic and have a hard time connecting with others. Art helps bridge that connection, and shows what I’m made of!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I enjoy portrait style art the most because I feel like I’m experiencing a new life, through the characters I create from my imagination. Some of the characters are like me, but others are how I would like to be, and I enjoy reading the comments on my IG posts from friends and followers that can relate and understand my art, and the characters I create. This helps me feel really connected and accepted.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from, some of my favorite artists Picasso, Egon Schiele, Edvard Munch, etc. Also from watching old silent films, like the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. I find them powerful for inspiration because everything is experienced through their expressions, that it is their real voice. That is the same kind of impact I am trying to bring out through my art. That is my voice coming through every piece I make. And finally, my biggest inspiration is simply, my imagination.
What would you do with $25,000?I would save some for my future, and would like to donate some to an animal shelter to help homeless animals.
