I get excited when creating interactive and immersive art. The thought of the viewer being a necessary component of the piece excites me. It's fun and exciting to be a part of something and share the experience with those around you. My hope is to make people feel more connected with their community and learn more about themselves.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes randomly and unpredictably. Sometimes an idea pops in my head when I'm out and about walking, so I'll jot it down and toy with it until it develops into a thoughtful plan. I get a lot of inspiration through the process of creating. The more I focus my energy into making the more ideas and side projects come along.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would allow me to spend more time focusing and working on my art projects and goals without overwhelming financial stressors getting in the way. It would provide me with a larger budget to work with, making more experimentation possible instead of " I only have one shot to try and get this right." It would also help me purchase more costly materials that I would otherwise find substitutions for or just change my plan entirely.
