My favorite art to create is abstract art. I have respect for other genres of art, such as still life, or sculpting, but they seem a little too simple to me. A painting of a bowl of fruit, is just a painting of a bowl and fruit. A sculpture of David is just a sculpture of David. With other genres of art, what you see is what you get. Yet, when you see abstract art, you have to actually think about what you're looking at. You have to dig deep, and find your own interpretation about what you see.

My inspiration for drawing comes from my day to day experiences. I don't want this to sound like a sob story, but currently, my life isn't necessarily where I would like it to be. When I draw, I can leave my world behind. Drawing gives me hope for the future. Even if I become rich one day, I'll still draw, because drawing makes me happy. It makes me feel fulfilled.

There are many things I would do with the money, but the first thing I would do is buy more art supplies , so I can keep creating. I believe that money doesn't matter when it comes to art. The best artists don't need expensive supplies to make good art, but having money for new supplies definitely helps. Also, if I win the money, I'm going to do everything I can to improve my mother's life, And thank her for taking care of me.
