Art, community, and music are the glue that holds humanity together. Art is a window into the soul, and the essence of who we are.

I’m most drawn to creating bold, expressive paintings. I love painting stylized faces, animals, and landscapes. My favorite thing to do at the end of a painting is add acrylic paint pen details, which really brings things forward and adds texture. Bright colors and contrast is where I am most at home.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw my inspiration lately from how unstable the world seems around us. Every interaction seems like a transaction. In a world where people capitalize on their creativity and use money as a means for motivation, I find myself pushing back against that narrative and creating what I want, when I want. I’m self taught, and I just love to have fun with it. I like to feel like a kid again and I love exploring and playing. Coloring in between the lines is not something that’s ever appealed to me
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would first help my dad repair his porch. It was torn up by someone he hired years ago who never came back to finish the job, and he can’t afford it now. It has been unfinished ever since. I would also buy a reliable used car. I bought mine for $500 6 years ago, and while I’m proud of how far it’s gotten me, I’m always hoping it holds on a little longer. I have two years remaining in my Rehabilitative Health Science degree, so I would use the rest to support my education.
