I paint portraits, landscapes and still life’s with bold color and impressionism, to inspire every day moments.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create art that inspires and captures simple moments in a way that draws you in. Life is so busy and chaotic. I hope that my paintings can communicate a moment of peace, inspiration, and thoughtfulness.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration all around me. Every moment is a miracle and every person has unique gifts and purpose. I remain open to inspiration from all places. Specifically with regards to art I am inspired by the impressionists and the old masters. I am also inspired by my art teacher Robert Johnson who has dedicated himself to his craft and has imparted so many lessons onto aspiring artists like myself.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to purchase more paint, canvases and panels and other supplies to continue developing a body of work. I would also donate 5,000 to the Scottsdale Artists School where I have taken several painting classes, and I would take several more painting classes there. I would use the remainder to start a website and display my art in galleries across DC.
