Art is a way to connect with the eternal parts of ourselves. By using the gift provided by the Creator I am joining in the joy of moment.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
All of it:) I work in fiber, wood, clay, paper and pencil, oils and canvas, fabric, photography. Mostly, when I know I have a gift to make, it really excites me to finish so I may share it with someone. Each season of life has opened new opportunities in different materials. If you came in my studio you wouldn't immediately know if I had a type. There's a sewing station with a bare mannequin, easel for canvas, basket of yarn, and desk for print making and writing.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature!& my spiritual walk with the Lord. The earth is filled with such beauty. Philippians 4:8. I also like painting portraits from old photographs. What I also find inspiration from is just making art. Working from a deep Spiritual Well, there is never a shortage of inspiration. John 4:10-14.- There's great fun in trying to capture a moment in eternity and at the exact same time expressing the eternal essence of love.
What would you do with $25,000?Give it to my sister who needs $ for a good lawyer.
