Creating art is part of my DNA. It is simply who I was born to be. It helps me to release everything the world says is normal. It is love.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is a mixture, I call it Whimsical Abstract. Using color theory with blacklight, regular light and a color strobe light, with some of the details that glow in the dark. Using my hands to create a background sea of emotions. Later on I will come back to detail a picture on the top. It's layers and layers of paint and emotions. Often 60+ layers per painting. Freedom, is my favorite type of art.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration is found in the colors of nature, patters, flowers, to mushrooms and galaxies. With the use of different emotions. I let love take over, it allows me to release a heavy heart or mind. Creation for me can not happen without absolute love. The love of feeling wet paint on my fingers, or how the colors blend together, even down to the movement of a flow state with music enhancing where to sway. My hands are the brushes, I am the canvas. Love is the inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would set it aside for my daughter's college fund. She has great aspirations and big dreams to be an advocate and voice for children. I want to show her, she can dream that big dream.
