Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in beautiful and interesting things I see around me and I enjoy exploring diverse cultures and the different magic I find in each one from different parts of America to South America and the Caribbean and Asian countries. I want to help others see the world the way I do and see the beauty and be inspired.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the prize money to invest directly into my art—upgrading materials, equipment, and creating a dedicated space where I can work consistently and push my ideas further, giving me the flexibility to focus more time on developing my craft. Equally important, I would dedicate part of the prize to supporting individuals living with sickle cell disease, a community that deserves more awareness, resources, and compassion. As a nurse, I’ve seen how deeply this condition affects lives.
