Fluid art is my favorite because it feels alive. There is a moment when the paint stops being something I can control and starts becoming something I discover. The colors move, react, and settle in ways I could never fully plan - and that is what makes each piece unique. Just when the piece dries, and you think it is finished, it may ask for more. Some pieces may ask for gold leaf or texture. Some don't need anything at all. Each piece tells me what it wants - I just listen.

Inspirations come to me in feelings and emotions. A song that stays with you. A quiet moment you can't quite explain. A dark mood that needs to be brought to light. The kind of emotion that lingers longer than it should. Sometimes I start with an idea, but often I just begin and see where it leads. The piece becomes whatever it needs to be in that moment.

I would use it to grow as an artist and push my work further. Studying in Florence, Italy would connect me to the history of art. Learning one on one with my favorite fluid artist, Olga Soby, would help me refine my techniques.
