I believe that art expands consciousness, and that real change for a better world begins there. It's my way of calling you to that change.

In my paintings I strive to create a field of vision which first of all attracts the eye, but then signals to the viewer that there are deeper levels to discover. I find that the geometric forms can be seen in a number of ways and relationships to each other. The overall effect should be a meditative process of discovery that stimulates a number of ways of seeing. Every time you encounter the painting, you should discover something else; another way of perceiving it.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes mostly from seeking ways to expand consciousness. I want my paintings to be tool for the mind and the brain. To stimulate new ways of seeing and perceiving.
What would you do with $25,000?I don't come from money. Family or otherwise. So to be honest, the award money would simply contribute to my survival and continuation of my work. Poverty is painful, and it would be nice to have a time in which I wasn't so hard pressed to survive.
