Paintings - but not the "sit in a gallery and be quiet" kind. I'm drawn to stuff with history and texture. Same reason I love picking sculptures, fossils, old books. When I paint, I want it to feel like it's been lived in. Lately I've been working on new pieces nobody's seen yet - mixed media, layered, with a story built into them. A sculpture, a rare book, even just the feeling of a thrift store on a Saturday morning. I don't create in a vacuum. I create because I'm surrounded by things that refuse to be forgotten.
