First and foremost I want to thank each and everyone behind this incredible opportunity. The art is not by choice it is a means for survival
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My mediums (not limited to) include Cinematography, Photography, paintings/cartoon, street art, cartoon voice acting and more.
Where do you find inspiration?I mainly find inspiration by looking at other Photographers works, in print only. I love watching films and have been a huge fan of them since a child. I recall watching Edward Scissor Hands in Puerto Rico visiting my Father, and that single moment created that spark. For that reason alone I want to push myself to become a beacon of hope in the art world or in general. You see there are kids / adults even, that need hope. I want to provide an escape where they can feel safe to dream as I did.
What would you do with $25,000?The question is not what would I do with $25,000, albeit what would others do? I have been laid off from my News and Television job very recently due to budget cuts,so the priority is supporting my cat and I. Once stable, I will move Puerto Rico, where I was born, and begin to build. I want to provide access for others to experience the joy of creating without the stress of financial burdens and local economic issues. I want to provide access resources anything I can. This is just the beginning.
