I create to keep alive the souls who shaped me—turning memory, loss and love into stories that heal and bring hope and light to others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is total art: storytelling through image, matter, music, light, scent, space and intuition. It begins with writing—from lived emotions, memory, myth and deep research. Characters rise in me like a film; I hear their music, feel their colors, textures and wounds. Then I enter a creative spiral, almost a trance, shaping words, paint and matter into an operatic world where visitors enter my inner universe and find echoes of their own, leaving with light, relief, and freedom.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the invisible traces people leave behind: in words, music, bodies, wounds, light, injustice, lies and the unfinished. My father, love, illness, death, memory, silent cinema and the movement of sculpted forms guide me. I listen to emotions as secret scores, to what could not be said, to life’s beauty and meanders. And, through art, I create to restore truth, give breath back to silenced voices, and turn pain into beauty, dignity, connection, freedom, and another way to live.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would help complete the budget for my Venice Art Biennale 2026 presence, from August to November, with my exhibition In C Minor – From Silence to the Breath of Life, at Palazzo Franchetti, home of the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, near the Accademia Bridge. I would also support creative workshops for blind children and a dog shelter, because art, care and love belong to the same breath.
