I create art to channel nature’s power, memory, and healing, transforming fleeting moments into living colour, movement, and meaning.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite art to create is expressive landscape painting that transforms real places into immersive, emotional experiences. I use bold, luminous colour, layered texture, and intuitive movement to blur the line between what is seen and what is felt, allowing each piece to unfold as a reflection of memory, atmosphere, and inner landscape.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the natural world around me, as well as from quiet moments of reflection, emotion, and personal experience that shape how I see and interpret the landscape. As an artist living with multiple disabilities, including Fibromyalgia, Myofascial Pain Disorder, Environmental Illness, and MCAS, since my early 20s, my journey has been one of persistence. While some days are tougher than others, my art and dedicated healing practices have been transformative.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 prize to expand my art practice and deepen my work within the community. I would invest in materials, studio development, and creating a new body of immersive landscape paintings. I’d also support accessible art programs for women and children facing emotional, physical, or intellectual barriers, offering a safe space for creative expression. This funding would help me grow as both an artist and a mentor, using art to inspire and empower others.
