You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a specialist in recovery narratives and Christian faith sunsets, using candid color photography and digital mixed media to create art that reflects life's landscapes and the lives around me.
Where do you find inspiration? My interest is communal energy: the sudden, messy exchanges where people loosen into play, protest, prayer or healing. My images present those moments as places where resilience, belonging and belief intersect. Influences include street art, festival culture and the private rituals of recovery and faith; I want my work to reveal how ordinary gatherings can become meaningful thresholds.
What would you do with $25,000?Given $25,000, I would set up a small art studio, invest in print art equipment, and initiate my own art business. The editing is intentional but preserves immediacy — composition, pacing, and visual hierarchy dictate how a story unfolds on the frame.By Carolynne Vaughn @bcdays.picfair.com
