I make artwork to remind people of their interconnection with each other, Nature, and the Universe, creating a sense of space with texture.

I work in acrylic with found objects both as paintings and as assemblages. My work reflects my personal experience in the landscape of Colorado and the wide variety of relationships people have with each other.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is everywhere and in everything. Color, texture, nature, books, movies, theater, music, travel, the extraordinary creativity of others expressions.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to donate the funds to the Colorado Women’s Art Museum to help fund purchase of a permanent home to preserve the artwork, stories and processes of our state’s women visual artists to elevate them now and for future generations to come. Women are significantly underrepresented in traditional museums and commercial galleries. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, collected more work by women-a total of 4,454 objects-but represented only 5% of their total acquisitions.
