I love sketching portraits of people. Whether it’s with graphite or charcoal it’s probably my most favorite medium to work with.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most of my inspiration from experience through life and the people I meet. The first thing most of us do when we meet someone is look at them in their eyes. That’s how I start most, if not all of my drawings. Everyone’s eyes tell a story. It’s Evidence of Life.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would pour into myself and my art so I can create bigger and more meaningful pieces. I want to be able to show the world that no matter how difficult life gets, there is something to smile about a look forward to. Money isn’t everything, but it definitely helps when you’re more dependent on it. I always say, “the same power God that created the heavens and the earth with is the same power He gave me to create my masterpieces.” I want to create for His glory.
