I create to release what I carry, turning unseen energy and emotion into something real. Letting it exist outside of me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to abstract work that develops organically rather than being planned. I let the lines build on each other and allow the piece to reveal itself over time. What I enjoy most is that the work doesn’t dictate a single meaning. People see different things depending on where they are mentally or emotionally, and that interaction becomes part of the piece itself.
Where do you find inspiration?I pull inspiration from everything nature, movement, energy, people but more than anything, I’m inspired by patterns and flow. The way things naturally curve, stretch, and connect. A lot of my work comes from observing how lines exist in the world. branches, currents, muscle, wind and translating that into something internal and intuitive. It’s less about copying what I see and more about capturing the feeling of it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into securing property and space where I can live more self-sufficiently and focus fully on my art. Having that foundation would allow me to create consistently, grow my work, and share it. It wouldn’t just support my art, it would allow it to evolve into something bigger and more sustainable long-term.
