I am a self taught artist that creates to make people smile. Currently refurbishing vinyls into art.Combining both of my loves music & art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is music-inspired painting on repurposed vinyl records. This is where I translate sound into visual storytelling inspired by the artist, lyrics, and emotion behind each piece. Also, saving them from becoming landfill. These paintings are done on damaged, some warped, mostly scratched and unplayable vinyls. My way to help keep the music alive.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the music itself and the memories tied to it. Each record carries a story- whether it is a lyric, a feeling, or a moment in time. I translate that emotion into a visual piece.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to support my family, take care of important expenses, and create special experiences with my children. I would also reinvest in my art so I can continue creating music-inspired work for a wider audience.
