I love to capture the beauty of nature on canvas with all kinds of paint. But, my favorite is watercolor, due to the difficulty in controlling it. You have to slow down, ground yourself and accept that it has a mind of it’s own.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration when I explore this beautiful world and observe the vastly different experiences that we all live through. Seeing its light and dark, dull and vibrant, lush or desolate, reminds me that we need it all to truly recognize the beauty we have been blessed with.
What would you do with $25,000?I feel deep in my bones that art is my calling. I want more than anything to be able to devote more time into making becoming a full time artist a reality. I would put this prize money that goal.
