I most enjoy creating mixed media artwork and incorporating things from nature which may not be seen as art supplies, such as leaves, flowers, and wood. It intrigues me to break outside the mold of traditional mediums and see what I can create with what nature has provided me. It connects me to the Earth and reflects the beauty that surrounds us.

I find inspiration from nature, from my friends and family, and from other incredible artists. There honestly isn’t a place where I do not find inspiration. I try to view the world itself as art and inspiration can strike at any moment! A leaf on the ground, a random sketch on the internet, a text from a friend checking in when I’m not doing well have all been sources of inspiration for me. I do not like to box myself into a specific category because creativity can come from anywhere and anyone.

I am an art teacher who truly believes in the importance of the arts for children’s development. I would use the money to support art therapy and art programs for children to be able to express themselves. I would also love to open my own art studio for kids and families to have a safe creative space. It would also help me pay off all of my debts support my family members who have helped me in times of struggle.
