I enjoy working with acrylic and oil paints to create realistic portraits. I like blending real elements with imagined elements, using the contrast to explore creativity and express each persons personality.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most of my inspiration in the people around me. I take the things they enjoy or feel passionate about and place them into imagined worlds where those elements either exist or are amplified beyond reality. I’m drawn to the idea of showing not just what someone looks like, but who they are, creating a visual interpretation of their personality rather than a literal representation.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to further develop my artistic practice. It would allow me to professionally prepare my work for gallery presentation and invest in higher-quality materials to support my ongoing artistic journey.
