Mixed media, often combining mediums often dismissed as "not serious": oil pastels, acrylics, gelli plates, charcoal, and printmaking with recycled materials. But really, my favorite work is always my next one. That drive to experiment and grow is what pulls me toward unexpected pairings, where the most interesting work happens.
Where do you find inspiration?Play. Failing. Experimentation. I'm inspired by my students and putting myself in their shoes. My surroundings and by watching and listening. I love to study the shape of things and the tension between spaces.
